Welcome to Rozznet, the Official Rozz Williams Website. We've been here for over 10 years now, brought to the internet through the wishes of Rozz Williams via his friends The Graves. Over the years, The Graves have enlisted the help of a number of people. A debt of gratitude is owed to ALL of them. Along with Rozz's departure, came a lot of, shall we say, ideas about who/what should be the continuing voice of Rozz Williams. Though Rozznet never professed to be the one and only, and end all philospher; vouchsafer; resource; memorial; soapbox prophet of Rozz Williams - there's certainly been a fair share of people that wanted us to wear that costume, even more that wanted to hate us for it. There's a lot of lines in the sand, and for some crossing any one of them means choosing sides. Mind you, you will not find a murkier set of rules in your lifetime than those by whom you associate youself with and whom they choose to associate themselves with. So, Rozznet was a source of contention and became a scapegoat to anyone wanting to protect Rozz's legacy from greed and manipulation. Unfortunately, it's quite hard to defend yourself to people who have already made their minds up about you. Rozznet never was and never has looked at Rozz as a dollar sign, and it's a little insulting in light of those the flagrantly, and proudly wave that banner - some of whom are one in the same as those pointing the finger. Wishing to distance themselves from the nonsense, The Graves stepped back and put the future of the site in the hands of Rozz's fans. Fans blind to the bullshit; true fans that could care less about the petty squabbles of "them", "they", "you", "we", etc. For the past five years, Ron Marrs (Haloe) and John Collins have been the primary designers and contributors to Rozznet. They have no bias, and simply wish to present a factual, visual, visceral representation of the artist Rozz Williams. We can all agree on one simple thing: Rozz is and was an extreme talent; a tortured genius of immeasurable gifts and we all miss him. So, if you wish to visit this site, we ask that you do so with only those ideas at heart. Thank you.
